1. The agreement
These Terms govern your use of Ferret, operated by Ferret Labs, Inc. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind it.
2. What Ferret does
Ferret analyzes source code you connect and surfaces defects, along with a failing test and a proposed fix for each. Ferret is a tool to assist engineers. It does not replace your judgment, your review process, or your responsibility for what you merge and ship.
Proposed fixes are suggestions. You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and deciding what enters your codebase.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep them secure and notify us at security@ferretlabsai.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
4. Plans and billing
The Free plan covers one repository at no cost. Paid plans are billed as described on the pricing page. Team is billed per active engineer per month. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
We may change prices with reasonable notice to account owners. Continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Ferret to break the law, infringe others' rights, reverse engineer the service, resell it without permission, or attempt to disrupt its operation. Do not connect code you do not have the right to analyze.
6. Intellectual property
You keep all rights to your code. The tests and fixes Ferret generates for your code are yours to use. Ferret and its underlying software, models, and brand remain ours. You grant us the limited rights needed to run the service on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Disclaimers
Ferret is provided on an as-is basis. We work hard to find real defects and to avoid false alarms, but we do not warrant that Ferret will find every bug, that every finding is correct, or that the service will be uninterrupted. Software is hard. So is finding all the ways it breaks.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ferret Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
You can stop using Ferret and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or where required by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify account owners before it takes effect. Questions go to legal@ferretlabsai.com.
